ALAN WILKINSON / JOHN BISSETT / JAMES DUNN
John Bisset (guitar), James Dunn (tinnitus analyzer and electronics), and Alan Wilkinson (alto and baritone saxophones) first played together back in July, since when they've performed a number of times, culminating in a memorable appearance at Adam Bohman's "New Year New Sounds" festival at BAC (see link below).
Described as a "quietly brilliant improviser" John Bisset is founder and organiser of all things "2:13", as well as performing in a number groups covering a very broad musical palette.
James Dunn is a highly original musician using his oscillators and re-wired keyboards in a variety of improvising groups.
Termed "iron lungs" by The Wire magazine and generally known for his take no prisoners approach to improvisation, in this context Alan Wilkinson brings a more abstract and textural approach to his playing.
